San José Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD) on behalf of San José City College, Evergreen Valley College, and the Workforce Institute, has begun conducting a comprehensive website assessment, including testing and remediation, to ensure that District websites comply with the accessibility requirements of section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and implementing regulations including W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. The District began its assessment since August 2017, and completed most of this work by January 2018. It is of primary importance that all of our website visitors, especially those with disabilities, are able to access and use our websites without barriers. The District continues to make every effort to ensure our websites are ADA compliant and adhere to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Levels A, AA, and AAA. While we are in compliance with the majority of these regulations, we continue dedicating resources toward mitigating all issues. For additional information regarding the updated accessibility requirements for information and communication technology please see (Overview of the Final Rule) For help with a specific webpage accessibility issue, please contact Sam Ho at (408) 223-6798, or at email address webcontact@sjeccd.edu, or by using the form provided (San José Evergreen Community College District Accessibility Feedback Form) .
