How to download apps from the Company Portal

Requirement

Students might need to submit the Office 365 request in Self Service and wait for confirmation that their Office 365 license is enabled.

Instruction

  1. Make sure the computer has Internet access either via WiFi or Ethernet
  2. At the Windows login screen, click on Other User
  3. Sign in with your school email address and password
    • Staff/Faculty: first.last@evc.edu
    • Student: StudentUsername@stu.evc.edu (e.g., tivi7676@stu.evc.edu)

  1. Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left and look for the Company Portal app

  1. Find the app you want to install and click on it
    • It is based on the user's permission. If you do not see the app, it is either not published or you might not have the correct permission for it. Submit a  Helpdesk ticket.

  1. Click on Install to begin downloading and installing the software. It will be doing it in the background so you will not see any progress bar. You will see a notification when it is installed successfully.
