Sharp Data Projector Model PG-MB60X
Remote controls for data projector and VCR are in the lock box.
Obtain a 217 key from your Dean or Media Services.
Note: No replacement data projector remotes available. Please return remotes to box and lock.
COMPUTER (classroom)
- Power up the computer and display and log onto the student network.
o DO NOT uses your EVC login name and password.
o Use standard EVC instructional station computer login name and password.
- If computer audio is desired, turn on Rolls audio amplifier. Room audio volume is adjusted by the volume controls on the audio amplifier.
- When finished with computer shut down using shut down command on menu.
DATA PROJECTOR
- Turn on data projector. Press remote control "ON" button. Aim remote at front of projector.
- Press "Input 1" on remote control to select computer input.
- Select signal input (VGA) switch located under table near keyboard.
o Press #l input button to select classroom computer. Input 1 LED will light.
- Focus and zoom in/out as necessary by using the "Focus" or "Zoom" buttons on the remote control.
- To shut down the data projector, press "Standby" button twice.
NOTEBOOK COMPUTER CONNECTION
- Press "Input 2" button on the VGA switch. Input 2 LED will light.
- Use VGA cable in lock box, and connect VGA port on laptop to the VGA port on the front of the VGA switch. Connect audio cable if audio is required.
DVD/VCR
Note: aim data projector remote control at front of projector.
- Turn on data projector with remote control "ON" button.
- Press "Input 3" on remote control to select VCR input.
- Turn on Rolls audio amplifier. Room audio volume is adjusted by the volume controls on the audio amplifier.
- Press "Power" button on DVD/VCR.
o For video tape, insert tape. Tape will automatically start playing.
o For DVD, press "Open" button. DVD tray will open. Insert DVD
o And press "Close" button. DVD will automatically start playing.
- Focus and zoom in/out as necessary by using the "Focus" and "Zoom" buttons on the remote control
- To shut down the data projector, press "Standby" button twice
