Evergreen Valley College and San Jose City College are providing Microsoft Office 365 to every student free of charge. This means the latest version of the full Office productivity suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more available for online use to best prepare you for class. As long as you are a student and the program continues, you will be able to use this software for free.
To access your Office 365 account, go to the SJECCD SECURE LOGIN site at If you have never logged in, select the button on the bottom right, “Unlock/Reset Password” to setup your account and select a password. After you have logged in, you will see an icon for accessing EVC/SJCC Office 365.

LockDown Browser is a locked browser for use with quizzes in Canvas. If a Canvas quiz requires that LockDown Browser be used, you will not be able to take the quiz with a standard web browser.
LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment in Canvas. When students use LockDown Browser to access a quiz, they are unable to print, copy, visit other websites, access other applications, or close a quiz until it is submitted for grading.
