Hitachi Projector
To Display from the Lectern Computer onto the Projector Screen:
1. Press the "Display Power" button on the white Extron control panel to lower the projector screen.
2. Press the red Power button on the Hitachi Projector remote control (PLEASE DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE CONTROL) to turn the projector on (remember to point the remote control towards the projector and wait a few minutes for the projector to warm up and turn on).
3. Select “Interface” on the white Extron control panel.
4. Press the “Computer 1” button on the remote control.
5. If the computer is not turned on, press the power button in front of the computer to power it on.
6. After your class instruction is completed, please turn off the projector by pressing the red power button on the remote control TWICE.
7. Then press the "Display Power" button on the white Extron control panel to raise the projector screen up and out of the way.
To Play a DVD/VHS video:
You can either play the DVD directly through the computer or you can use the dedicated DVD/VHS player in the AV rack. To play through the dedicated DVD/VHS Player, follow these steps.
Follow the previous steps 1-2 to turn on the projector and lower the projector screen and then the following:
1. Press the "DVD" button on the white Extron control panel.
2. Press the “Video 4” input button on the remote control (remember to point the remote control towards the projector).
3. Power on the DVD player. Insert your DVD and play your movie.
4. Similar steps if you have a VHS tape.
