DROP FOR NONPAYMENT IMPLEMENTATION ACTION REQUIRED
The San José Evergreen Community College District that includes Evergreen Valley College and San José City College is implementing a drop for nonpayment policy effective intersession/spring semester 2025.
Students who have an outstanding account balance of more than $100 will automatically be dropped from all courses they register for on the following date:
- The deadline to make payment or enter into a payment plan is Wednesday, December 11, 2024 by 10:00 pm
- The drop for nonpayment will occur on Thursday, December 12, 2024
Students can avoid being dropped for nonpayment by paying their outstanding account balance in full OR by entering into an online payment plan via Self-Service
HOW YOU CAN PAY:
- Pay online through Self-Service at https://sso.sjeccd.edu under the "Student Finance" tab
- Pay in-person with cash, a check or credit card at the Admissions & Records Office
- Pay by phone by calling (408) 288-3700
- Enter into a payment plan with TouchNet at https://sso.sjeccd.edu under the “Student Finance" tab
PAYMENT PLANS
Starting in October 2024, we are working with TouchNet for online payment plans through Self-Service at https://sso.sjeccd.edu.
Payment plans make it easy to plan, budget and pay tuition payments on-time, interest free and without any surprises.
Students and authorized users can enroll in an available plan and make payments by using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. At this time, only credit or debit cards are accepted.
ACCOUNT INFORMATION
To view your account information online, please sign in to Self-Service, the online student portal by visiting https://sso.sjeccd.edu/ and click on "Student Finance" to view your latest statement and make a payment online.
FINANCIAL AID
If your outstanding account balance is attributed to the current award year, you are encouraged to apply for financial aid by completing and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California Dream Act Application (CADAA) or California College Promise Grant (CCPG) application.
If you have any questions, please call (408) 288-3700, email sjccbalance@sjcc.edu or visit the Admissions & Records Office of your college.
