This means the latest version of the full Office productivity suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more available for online use to best prepare you for class.

Get Your Free Microsoft Office 365

Evergreen Valley College and San Jose City College offer Microsoft Office 365 for free to all students and staff. You can access the latest version of the complete Office suite, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more.

Note: Most students can use Microsoft Office 365 online, but not all students can download the desktop versions of Office apps or access Outlook or MS Access. If you need to install Office applications on your device or use Outlook, please reach out to the IT Help Desk by submitting a ticket through the ITSS Support Portal.

How to Get Microsoft Office 365: 

PC and Mac

1. Visit Office.com.

 

2. Enter your college-provided username: the first two initials of your first and last name followed by the last four digits of your student ID @stu.evc or stu.sjcc.edu.

    EVC Students:   StudentUsername@stu.evc.edu (e.g., tivi7676@stu.evc.edu)

    SJCC Students: StudentUsername@stu.sjcc.edu (e.g., bepr4843@stu.sjcc.edu)


3. Click Next.

     
 

4. On the Office 365 Copilot home page, select 'Install and more' in the top-right corner. 


5. Select Install Microsoft 365 apps 
 


6. In the left tab, click on 'Apps & Devices', then click on 'Install Office'.



7. Click on 'Open File' in your downloads and follow the setup process.

iPhone/iPad and Android

1. To set up Office apps and email on a mobile device, click here: Set up Office apps and email

2. Alternatively, download the apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote) from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
