Windows 10 – Switch Audio Output Devices

Summary

The default audio playback device is the device that Windows uses to output (play) sound.
When you connect speakers, headphones, Bluetooth headset, or other audio devices to your PC, you can select which device you want to use by default.

1. In Windows 10, right-click on the speaker icon in the System Tray.  This will display the volume slider.

2. Left-click the "Open Sound settings" menu option.

3. This will display all of the available audio playback devices.

4. Click on the device you would like to have produce the audio.

Now you can switch back and forth between playback devices with ease.
